Josselin is a great place for a day out – with the 12th-century turreted château, the beautiful river Oust, many 16th-century half-timbered buildings, and a gargoyled basilica.
If you are in the area on Saturday 26th June, why not combine your day in Josselin with a trip to nearby Guégon to enjoy a summer fête in aid of Cancer Support France?
More about the Fête
The fête will take place from 12:00 until 17:00, and will feature bric-a-brac, books, gifts, lucky dip raffle prizes, snacks, tea, coffee, and cakes!
The entrance costs just 1 euro, which includes a free drink. Stalls are available at 3 euros per metre but you will need to supply your own table.
We will be in the area and hope to attend. Please spread the word, as this is in aid of a good charity, and please get in touch if you would like a table.
We are going to build a “What’s On” section on the website to highlight local events such as this. If you know of any summer fêtes or other events, please let us know – better still, become a regular contributor to the site and post the details yourself!
