If you are holidaying in France this summer, you need to be aware of this new rule:

Since January 2012, speed camera detectors are banned in France. You are supposed to update your GPS or TomTom and have the radar detector option removed!

If you are caught by the French police, your GPS / TomTom can be confiscated and you could face a fine up to 1,500 euros!

However, the French police is not allowed to look at your GPS or TomTom…
