La Bretesche

The course at La Bretesche is in Missillac, in the Loire-Atlantique department, a short drive from La Roche-Bernard (Morbihan). The International golf course at La Baule, is less than 30 minutes from La Roche Bernard. It is situated amongst chestnut and oak woods. It offers two attractive and fairly challenging 18-hole courses: the Lucien Barrière course at 5981 metres and the Diane Barrière-Desseigne one at 6197 metres. Both are par 72. The domain also features a third course: the François André. It has 9-holes and is 2973 metres with a par 36.

Savenay, 20 minutes due south from La Roche Bernard, hosts another great course: the Blue Green Savenay Golf Club.The 6250 metre, par 73 course is situated near Nantes and overlooks the Loire river. It is a high quality course running along open valleys and through chestnut woodland with lakes. It also features a shop and restaurant.

Other Local Courses

Nantes-Vigneux – The Golf Club de Nantes is close to the Route Departmentale 81, near Vigneux-de-Bretagne. An 18-hole, 5851 metre, par 72 course, it is situated at the heart of a 130 acre wooded domain. The Cens river runs through the estate. This course requires more precision than power.

Saint-Jean-de-Monts – 8km of fine, sandy beaches run along the golf club of Saint-Jean-de-Monts. It is a 5962 metre, par 72 course, located in an area of outstanding beauty. As a result, this stunning course is regularly classed among the 30 most beautiful French golf courses.
