This month our newsletter covers the sudden cold snap in Brittany and Pays de la Loire, how we are No.1 in google for ‘bad holiday websites’, how you can now publicise your local events, and how we can help English business owners with their French web presence.
Clocks have changed on both sides of the Channel and it’s certainly starting to feel more Autumnal these past few weeks. We’re off to France for a couple of weeks in November, having convinced ourselves we aren’t going to get caught without fuel or have our ferry turned away at Caen Ouistreham due to the industrial action. I hope you weren’t impacted too much by the recent action. I have made my own views about retirement age increase known on the blog in my response to Nicola’s Sarkozy v Oil Refinery Workers post. If you were impacted, or if you have a view, why not add your comments too?
Our October 2010 newsletter features a warm welcome to our new guest bloggers Nicola Harrington and Anne Williams, a look at holiday rental bookings for 2010, an introduction to our new series entitled ‘On the Trail of George East’ and an invitation to you, our readers, to join the growing list of people contributing regularly to the site.
We"re pleased to have sent the first newsletter to our growing membership – the first since we launched the site in January. It has generated plenty of traffic and feedback and so we thought it would be relevant to present it here on the blog for our visitors too.
