Had a very busy Sunday this weekend as we attended the AIKB Kermesse Fête in Laniscat, selling both my Usborne Books and also promoting our new Online Marketing business, www.myshoppinggenie.com/smartsavers. I’m especially excited about it today as we’ve just received our first commission cheque!

As for Usborne, I”m going to run an event at “Elizabeille” in Laurenan on Wednesday 6th October 2.00-5.30 pm to celebrate Children”s Book Week. There will be a selection of Usborne Books to browse and buy, or order from the catalogue, storytelling, children’s craft activities, free bookmarks, and entry forms to the Usborne Young Writers Award. There will also be advice from “Read-Anglais” about encouraging or teaching your children to read confidently in English.
As usual, the Tea Room, artisan, and brocante stalls will also be open to browse around, so it should be a good event. If you have children from tots to teens, why not come along?
